DevOps Kubernetes engineer

We need your expertise

We are looking for an DevOps engineer with extensive Kubernetes and Azure expertise, for a 3 month project to migrate a set of DevOps applications to a Kubernetes / Azure environment.

Key Activities

  • Assess dependencies for the migratation; remediate manifests, images, integrations, data flows and CI/CD. Applications in scope for the migration: Zeppeling, Artifactory, Bitbucket, SonarQube, Grafana.

  • Execute migration waves, cutovers, functional validation and issue resolution with application owners.

  • Hands-on experience in Kubernetes, Azure, Linux, networking, storage, security and automation.

  • Working with our application migration engineers and architects in San Jose.

  • Proficient in Azure Services and Kubernetes.

  • Strong foundation in security frameworks, networking (routing, switching, firewalling), containerization (deployment & infrastructure, mainly Kubernetes), storage, Linux.

  • Expertise in CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps), configuration management (IaC), and API management, containerization (Kubernetes) utilizing automation tools and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Ansible) to streamline deployment and system configuration.

  • Skilled in Python, KQL, and PowerShell, enabling automation, data querying, and scripting for IT and cloud environments.

  • Experience around 4-15 years, medior level to senior level depending on the scope

Minimal required certifications:

  • Microsoft Certified Azure Administrator

  • Certified Kubernetes Administrator
