Full stack engineer

Your role

We are looking for an experienced full stack developer for a high-tech semiconductor customer in The Netherlands.

You already have a few years of experience as a software engineer and are ready for the next step: broadening your skills. At Itility, you get that opportunity. You work at the intersection of backend and frontend, helping to build modern, scalable applications that add immediate value for our clients. On the backend, you work with Python, while on the frontend you will be using Angular. You enjoy switching between different technologies and continuously expanding your knowledge. In addition to programming, you actively contribute to architectural and design decisions, and work closely with colleagues from various disciplines and with our clients. This allows you to continuously learn, gain insight into the entire chain, and develop into an all-round engineer who can make a difference in diverse environments.

What you are going to do

• Building user-friendly and scalable frontend applications using Angular

• Developing and optimizing backend functionality in Python

• Working in multidisciplinary teams with engineers, UI/UX designers and project managers

• Contributing ideas regarding software architecture and technical choices

• Writing and executing unit and integration tests

• Maintaining and further developing existing applications

This is you

Naturally, you are committed, driven, and enjoy working in a world that is constantly changing. To do that successfully, you need:

A bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a similar field

5+ years of experience as a software engineer

Experience in working with Angular

Experience with Python for backend development

Experience using AI coding assistant tools (GitHub Copilot) is a strong plus

Understanding microservices and software architecture principles

Good English communication skills

A hands-on mentality and the drive to continuously learn and develop yourself
